Galastrike is a vertical space shooter where you play as one of the last human space pilots fighting against what has come to be known as "Galawar", the ever growing conquering of the known space by a mysterious alien race. Your mission: to destroy the aliens.

Galastrike was developed as part of an online community, HomeTeam GameDev, in which for 9 weeks I led the development of the project giving weekly updates and prioritizing and arranging the project’s goals. Galastrike was developed in JS/HTML as its platform with high-pixel art. As lead I was responsible for coming up and pitching game idea, creating the prototype, developing core gameplay and refining its design as it developed.
