Through Roads is the navigation track for the game, as the player roams the territory map from a bird's eye perspective to decide their destination and next move as they travel through expansive roads in a medieval-like world. I decided to use the sounds of the orchestra for Through Roads as I saw a relation established by pop culture between the game's genre and setting and certain instruments available in the orchestra ensemble. Through Roads uses its percussion to establish a marching rhythm evoking the sense of traveling through roads and cymbals crashing in an epic manner. The sounds of the brass section are used to establish the undertone of the track, the base for the melody and highlight parts of the track with musical ornaments, harmonies and melodic arrangements, as well as building the overall track's intensity. The flute is in charge of defining the melody while also evoking a more profound sense of personal relationship to the song as the player in the game is traveling and the flute or other small wind instruments are portable, perfect for a musician on the roads. The string section is used to adorn the overall track and maintain the feeling of adventure with pizzicato and background melodies. The voices are used to add an element of awe and epicness to the the player's travels.

The track starts simple, with the marching beats of the snare and the introduction of the undertone by the brass and string section. The flute breaks in creating a tune that any traveler can whistle on their journey. Expectation is built with string pizzicato and trumpets while being tamed with crashing cymbals. A chorus is introduced to frame in the spirit of adventure and bring forth the intensity of the spirit building up. In the last section, the instruments are sharing back and forth the melody established by the flute, each instrument helping build the overall intensity of the track. This last section represents the culmination of the journey and that first glimpse and excitement to have arrived at the destination of the adventure.
